How would you describe your painting style?

My style is free and loose, yet accurate. Light and composition are very important. It needs to first be a good painting, then capture the home's unique setting and character. In doing so, this reality will evoke emotions for those who cherished living in that particular home.

What sizes do you offer?

Most of my painting are standard sizes. It starts as small as a 5 x 7 inch and they go up to 16 x 20 but the most popular size is 11 x 14 (fits nicely into an 16 x 20 frame with a mat).

How much do you charge?

Prices start at $500 for an 8"x10" watercolor. Pencil drawings start at $400. My most popular size, 11 x 14 range from $775-$1500, depending on the complexity. Please call or email for a quote. I would need to see an image.

How far in advance do we need to order?

The earlier the better. I aim for a 4 week turnover time but it will depend on the workload at the moment. This will be discussed before the invoice is sent.

What kind of image do you need?

The picture you send me is most important. It the home is in St. Louis, I will most likely want to take the pictures. I have created a simple guideline for how to get the best images in my hands which we will discuss. Call or e-mail me.

Do you frame your the finished watercolor?

Occasionally. Over the years I found out that it's best when you work with your local picture framer, but we can talk about it...

Where are you located?

I'm located in Manchester, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. The good part about my painting job is that I can do it anywhere. I just need a quiet, enjoyable space with good lighting. My daughter lives in Scotland and sometimes I paint there. My mother in Florida and I recently finished a painting there.
