Pricing and More
Steps involved in commissioning a painting:
1. Contact me about the painting you want to have done. Just go to the contact page and e-mail or call.
2. Mail a good picture of the house. You can also e-mail
a good digital image of the property.
Click here to read more about what pictures are
good for a house portrait. (St. Louis customers may contact me about taking
the photographs).
3. After reviewing the pictures, I will give you a price estimate and a time frame (normally, it takes two to three weeks from the time photographs are received and the final painting is delivered.)
4. Prices start at $300 for an 8"x10" black
and white drawing to $2,500 for a detailed 18"x24" watercolor of
a large home. Normally an 11"x14" watercolor starts at $750, but again, it depends on the complexity.
Please call or email for a quote. Framing is optional, but highly encouraged.
Click here to see our frames. Taxes and shipping are
not included in the price.
(All prices are valid until December 31, 2011).
5. A 50% down payment is required. Upon receipt of your check, I will start the work at the earliest time possible. If necessary, I will call you for some needed detail.
6. Upon completion and your approval, the balance is due. Once received, your painting is mailed along with the photographs.
